// zapier track

A Zapier expert who builds Zaps that don't quietly break.

Multi-step Zaps, webhooks, code steps, real error handling, and the integrations Zapier's templates can't reach. 5+ years across hundreds of Zaps — built for production, not a one-off demo. Same productized pricing as every track: USD, fixed, no surprises.

// capabilities

What I actually do in Zapier.

The work that gets billed — not a marketing list. If your gap is here, we can talk concretely.

Multi-step Zaps

Branching Paths, filters, delays, and lookups — the logic that turns a 2-step Zap into a workflow that actually runs your ops.

Webhooks

Catch and custom-request webhooks both ways, with payload shaping and retries — for the apps with no native trigger.

Code steps

JavaScript and Python steps where the built-in actions run out of road — parsing, transforms, signing, custom API calls.

Error handling

Auto-replay, error notifications, and fallback paths so a failed run pages you, not your customer.

Custom app integrations

Connecting apps Zapier doesn’t list — via their REST API, in a code step or a private integration.

Tables & Interfaces

Zapier Tables and Interfaces for lightweight data + intake without standing up a separate app.

AI steps

OpenAI / Anthropic steps for classification, drafting, extraction — wired into the Zap, not bolted on.

Migration & handoff

Move off Zapier to n8n when task costs spike — or clean up the Zap sprawl you already have. Documented, with a Loom.

// packages

The Zapier ladder — four ways in.

Spark, Audit, Sprint, or Build — same productized cadence as every track. USD pricing, fixed, no surprises. Bigger or ongoing needs sit one section down.

ZP-00 Spark 3–5 days

Zapier Spark

$650

One Zap built and shipped — or one broken Zap fixed properly. The smallest way in.

  • 1 production Zap — one trigger, the actions, and the logic that makes it useful
  • Or one silently-failing Zap fixed properly, with the cause explained
  • Error notification + auto-replay so it cannot fail quietly
  • Short Loom walkthrough + handoff notes
  • 7-day post-ship support · paid up front
  • Fee credited toward a Sprint if you book within 30 days

ZP-01 Audit 5 days

Zapier Audit

$499

Read-only review of your Zapier account — the Zaps, the task spend, and what’s silently failing.

  • 2 × 30-min discovery calls with whoever owns your Zaps
  • Review of every active Zap — structure, failures, task usage
  • Task-cost analysis: where you’re overpaying and why
  • A map of what’s connected vs what should be
  • 30-day improvement roadmap, ranked by ROI and risk
  • One quick-win Zap rebuilt, ready to turn on
  • 20-min Loom walkthrough on delivery
  • $499 credited toward a Sprint or Build within 30 days

ZP-03 Build 3–4 weeks

Zapier Build

$4,800

One bigger build — a custom integration, a migration, or a Zap system across your stack.

  • Choose one shape:
  • – A custom-app integration (private integration or code, end-to-end)
  • – A Zapier → n8n migration to cut task costs, with parity
  • – A multi-Zap system across 3+ apps with shared error handling
  • Discovery + scope confirmation before any build
  • Error workflows, retries, rate-limit guards, observability
  • 30-day post-ship support · one iteration round
  • 50/50 billing · Wise / AirTM / wire / PayPal
Scope Zapier build
// bigger + ongoing

Need more than a single build?

Several builds wired into one operation → the Stack bundle. Ongoing help → Automation Care, three tiers from $750/mo. Both are cross-stack and scoped on the main packages page.

// faq

Zapier questions, answered.

The ones that actually come up on intro calls.

How many Zaps / which apps have you worked with?

Hundreds of Zaps over 5+ years, across CRMs, comms, e-commerce, support, and finance apps. If your app has a Zapier listing or a REST API, I can almost certainly wire it.

My Zapier task bill is getting expensive — can you help?

Yes. The audit includes a task-cost analysis, and the most common Build is a migration of the heavy Zaps to self-hosted n8n where tasks are effectively free. We scope it after the audit.

Do you write code steps?

Yes — JavaScript and Python. When the built-in actions can’t do it (custom parsing, signing, an unlisted API), a code step does, with comments and error handling.

Can you fix Zaps that keep failing silently?

That’s most of the audit. Silent failures usually trace to missing error paths, brittle field mapping, or rate limits — all fixable, and I’ll add notifications so it never fails quietly again.

How do I know you actually know Zapier?

The $499 audit is the cheapest test — 5 days of real work and a roadmap whether or not you continue. Happy to do a 20-min live screen-share through real Zaps first.

// next step

Bring me your messiest Zapier problem.

The fastest path to a yes-or-no is a 5-minute brief. If it doesn't fit the standard packages, say so — most don't, and most get scoped anyway.
